                    LEGISLATIVE BUDGET BOARD    Austin, Texas      FISCAL NOTE, 84TH LEGISLATIVE REGULAR SESSION            April 12, 2015      TO: Honorable Jodie Laubenberg, Chair, House Committee on Elections      FROM: Ursula Parks, Director, Legislative Budget Board     IN RE:HB1927 by Bonnen, Greg (Relating to the application to vote early by mail in more than one election.), As Introduced    No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.  The bill would amend the Election Code to permit an application to be voted early by mail to apply to more than one election. The bill would require a county clerk to maintain a registry for certain applications for ballots to be voted by mail. Under the provisions of the bill, the Secretary of State would be required to create a form and procedures to implement the bill.
