ANALYSIS H.B. 2025 amends the Education Code to include a school district with an enrollment of more than 5,000 but less than 7,000 students and located primarily in a county that contains the headwaters of the San Gabriel River among the school districts that may develop and implement a pilot program for students who wish to obtain a high school diploma after completion of three years of secondary school attendance as an alternative to the traditional four-year period of attendance. EFFECTIVE DATE On passage, or, if the bill does not receive the necessary vote, September 1, 2015.
