The bill would provide a volume-based exemption from the reporting requirements for accidental discharges or spills. The bill would provide that single accidental discharges or spills at treatment facilities or collection facilities do not have to be reported to the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) under certain circumstances. No significant impact to the TCEQ's workload is expected as a result of the bill's passage. Local Government Impact No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
