                    LEGISLATIVE BUDGET BOARD    Austin, Texas      FISCAL NOTE, 84TH LEGISLATIVE REGULAR SESSION            March 27, 2015      TO: Honorable René Oliveira, Chair, House Committee on Business & Industry      FROM: Ursula Parks, Director, Legislative Budget Board     IN RE:HB2052 by Bohac (Relating to service contracts, vehicle protection products and loss damage waivers for heavy equipment; requiring an occupational license; expanding the applicability of an occupational license.), As Introduced    No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.  The bill would amend the Occupations Code relating to service contracts, vehicle protection products and loss damage waivers for heavy equipment; requiring an occupational license; expanding the applicability of an occupational license.  Based on the analysis of the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation, Office of the Attorney General, and Comptroller of Public Accounts, duties and responsibilities associated with implementing the provisions of the bill could be accomplished by utilizing existing resources.  Local Government Impact No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
