                    LEGISLATIVE BUDGET BOARD    Austin, Texas      FISCAL NOTE, 84TH LEGISLATIVE REGULAR SESSION            May 12, 2015      TO: Honorable Kevin Eltife, Chair, Senate Committee on Business & Commerce      FROM: Ursula Parks, Director, Legislative Budget Board     IN RE:HB2063 by Oliveira (Relating to the recording and effective date of certain documents relating to nonjudicial foreclosure sales.), As Engrossed    No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.  The bill would amend the Property Code to permit certain paper documents, attached to a deed or an affidavit and received by the county clerk, to be recorded and to serve as the notice of the notice of the matter document. The bill sets forth criteria to establish an appointment or authorization of a trustee or substitute trustee in a notice of sale. Local Government Impact No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
