A BILL TO BE ENTITLED
AN ACT
relating to the release of election judges' and clerks' contact
information.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS:
SECTION 1. Subchapter D, Chapter 32, Election Code, is
amended by adding Section 32.076 to read as follows:
Sec. 32.076. CONFIDENTIALITY OF E-MAIL ADDRESS AND PHONE
NUMBER. An e-mail address or personal phone number of an election
judge or clerk collected or maintained by the authority conducting
the election is confidential and does not constitute public
information for purposes of Chapter 552, Government Code.
SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2015.
