                    LEGISLATIVE BUDGET BOARD    Austin, Texas      FISCAL NOTE, 84TH LEGISLATIVE REGULAR SESSION            April 6, 2015      TO: Honorable Larry Phillips, Chair, House Committee on Homeland Security & Public Safety      FROM: Ursula Parks, Director, Legislative Budget Board     IN RE:HB2161 by Simmons (Relating to the regulation of certain private security companies and occupations.), As Introduced    No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.  The bill would amend the Occupations Code to stipulate certain regulations regarding camera systems used in some manner by certain private security companies and occupations. It is assumed any costs associated with implementing the provisions of the bill could be absorbed within current resources.  The bill would take effect September 1, 2015.
