The bill would amend the Health and Safety Code to amend the criteria of emergency service districts that are exempted from filing an audit report. Under the provisions of the bill, a district that files certain compiled financial statements and that maintains an Internet website would be required to post the financial statements on the district's website for the most recent three years.
