                    LEGISLATIVE BUDGET BOARD    Austin, Texas      FISCAL NOTE, 84TH LEGISLATIVE REGULAR SESSION            April 22, 2015      TO: Honorable Jimmie Don Aycock, Chair, House Committee on Public Education      FROM: Ursula Parks, Director, Legislative Budget Board     IN RE:HB2293 by Darby (relating to the certification by the comptroller to the commissioner of education of the taxable value of property in each school district.), Committee Report 1st House, Substituted    No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.  The bill would amend statutory provisions governing the Comptroller's certification of property values to the Commissioner of Education to provide for the details of the certification process to be the subject of an interagency memorandum of understanding. It is assumed for the purpose of this estimate that the process governed by the memorandum of understanding would be similar to the current statutory process. Local Government Impact No fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
