The bill would amend the Insurance Code relating to nondiscrimination against physicians in payment for telephone consultation services.Based on information provided by the Texas Department of Insurance, the University of Texas System Administration, the Texas A&M University System Administration, the Employees Retirement System, and the Teacher Retirement System, it is assumed that all duties and responsibilities necessary to implement the provisions of the bill could be accomplished utilizing existing staff and resources.
