                    LEGISLATIVE BUDGET BOARD    Austin, Texas      FISCAL NOTE, 84TH LEGISLATIVE REGULAR SESSION            April 7, 2015      TO: Honorable Byron Cook, Chair, House Committee on State Affairs      FROM: Ursula Parks, Director, Legislative Budget Board     IN RE:HB2351 by Harless (Relating to conflicts of interest and discrimination policies for an ethics or medical committee review of an advance directive.), As Introduced    No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.  The bill would amend the Health and Safety Code relating to conflicts of interest and discrimination policies for an ethics or medical committee review of an advance directive.  Based on information provided by the Department of State Health Services and the Texas Medical Board, it is assumed that duties and responsibilities associated with implementing the provisions of the bill could be accomplished by utilizing existing resources. Local Government Impact No fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
