                    LEGISLATIVE BUDGET BOARD    Austin, Texas      FISCAL NOTE, 84TH LEGISLATIVE REGULAR SESSION            May 1, 2015      TO: Honorable Jodie Laubenberg, Chair, House Committee on Elections      FROM: Ursula Parks, Director, Legislative Budget Board     IN RE:HB2386 by Reynolds (Relating to eligibility for early voting by mail.), As Introduced    No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.  The bill would amend the Election Code to permit certain individuals, who are permanent caretakers, to be eligible to vote by early voting by mail. The bill would require the Secretary of State (SOS) to adopt rules to implement this provision.
