This bill would amend the Health and Safety Code relating to the evaluation of the reduction of emissions of air contaminants achieved from certain programs. Based on information provided by the Public Utility Commission, Texas Commission on Environmental Quality, Texas A&M Engineering Extension Services, and the Comptroller of Public Accounts, it is assumed that duties and responsibilities associated with implementing the provisions of the bill could be accomplished by utilizing existing resources.
