                    LEGISLATIVE BUDGET BOARD    Austin, Texas      FISCAL NOTE, 84TH LEGISLATIVE REGULAR SESSION            April 20, 2015      TO: Honorable Geanie Morrison, Chair, House Committee on Environmental Regulation      FROM: Ursula Parks, Director, Legislative Budget Board     IN RE:HB2551 by Rodriguez, Eddie (Relating to the evaluation of the reduction of emissions of air contaminants achieved from certain programs.), As Introduced    No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.  This bill would amend the Health and Safety Code relating to the evaluation of the reduction of emissions of air contaminants achieved from certain programs. Based on information provided by the Public Utility Commission, Texas Commission on Environmental Quality, Texas A&M Engineering Extension Services, and the Comptroller of Public Accounts, it is assumed that duties and responsibilities associated with implementing the provisions of the bill could be accomplished by utilizing existing resources. Local Government Impact No fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
