The bill would amend the Family Code and Human Resources Code relating to juvenile justice functions, including probation supervision of determinate sentenced youth. The bill would take effect September 1, 2015. This analysis assumes that any costs associated with implementing the provisions of the bill could be absorbed within agency resources.
