                    LEGISLATIVE BUDGET BOARD    Austin, Texas      FISCAL NOTE, 84TH LEGISLATIVE REGULAR SESSION            April 6, 2015      TO: Honorable Larry Phillips, Chair, House Committee on Homeland Security & Public Safety      FROM: Ursula Parks, Director, Legislative Budget Board     IN RE:HB2680 by Bonnen, Greg (Relating to allocation of money from the law enforcement officer standards and education fund.), As Introduced    No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.  The bill would amend the Occupations Code to add telecommunicators to those who would be eligible to use funds from the General Revenue-Dedicated Law Enforcement Officer Standards and Education Account No. 116 for continuing education costs. It is assumed any costs associated with implementing the bill could be absorbed within current resources. The bill would take effect September 1, 2015. Local Government Impact No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
