       AUTHOR'S / SPONSOR'S STATEMENT OF INTENT   H.B. 2680 amends current law relating to allocation of money from the law enforcement officer standards and education fund.   RULEMAKING AUTHORITY   This bill does not expressly grant any additional rulemaking authority to a state officer, institution, or agency.    SECTION BY SECTION ANALYSIS   SECTION 1. Amends the heading to Section 1701.157, Occupations Code, to read as follows:   Sec. 1701.157. MONEY ALLOCATED AND USED FOR TRAINING OR CONTINUING EDUCATION.   SECTION 2. Amends Section 1701.157(a), Occupations Code, to add references to a telecomunicator as defined by Section 1701.001 (Definitions) in a list of persons licensed under this chapter.    SECTION 3. Effective date: September 1, 2015.

SECTION BY SECTION ANALYSIS

 

SECTION 1. Amends the heading to Section 1701.157, Occupations Code, to read as follows:

 

Sec. 1701.157. MONEY ALLOCATED AND USED FOR TRAINING OR CONTINUING EDUCATION.

 

SECTION 2. Amends Section 1701.157(a), Occupations Code, to add references to a telecomunicator as defined by Section 1701.001 (Definitions) in a list of persons licensed under this chapter. 

 

SECTION 3. Effective date: September 1, 2015.
