                    LEGISLATIVE BUDGET BOARD    Austin, Texas      FISCAL NOTE, 84TH LEGISLATIVE REGULAR SESSION            April 1, 2015      TO: Honorable Joseph Pickett, Chair, House Committee on Transportation      FROM: Ursula Parks, Director, Legislative Budget Board     IN RE:HB2702 by Pickett (Relating to an alternative composition of a board of directors of a regional mobility authority.), As Introduced    No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.  The bill would amend the Transportation Code to permit an alternative composition of the board of directors of a regional mobility authority. The bill would permit a board of directors to consist of county commissioners of the counties of an authority, if authorized by a resolution approved by each of the commissioners courts. The county commissioners board of directors would be required to choose a director among the directors to serve as the presiding officer in lieu of the governor's appointee.
