The bill would amend the Transportation Code to permit an alternative composition of the board of directors of a regional mobility authority. The bill would permit a board of directors to consist of county commissioners of the counties of an authority, if authorized by a resolution approved by each of the commissioners courts. The county commissioners board of directors would be required to choose a director among the directors to serve as the presiding officer in lieu of the governor's appointee. Local Government Impact No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
