                    LEGISLATIVE BUDGET BOARD    Austin, Texas      FISCAL NOTE, 84TH LEGISLATIVE REGULAR SESSION            May 3, 2015      TO: Honorable Jodie Laubenberg, Chair, House Committee on Elections      FROM: Ursula Parks, Director, Legislative Budget Board     IN RE:HB2888 by Lozano (Relating to the use of a county early voting polling place by a political subdivision.), As Introduced    No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.  The bill would amend the Election Code to require a political subdivision to designate an early voting polling place an eligible county polling place. Under the provisions of the bill, a political subdivision would not be permitted to designate as an early voting polling place a location other than an eligible county polling place unless each eligible county polling place located in the political subdivision is designated as an early voting polling place by the subdivision.
