                    LEGISLATIVE BUDGET BOARD    Austin, Texas      FISCAL NOTE, 84TH LEGISLATIVE REGULAR SESSION            March 24, 2015      TO: Honorable John Zerwas, Chair, House Committee on Higher Education      FROM: Ursula Parks, Director, Legislative Budget Board     IN RE:HB2921 by Paul (Relating to authorizing a recreation and wellness facility fee at the University of Houston-Clear Lake.), As Introduced    No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.  The bill would amend the Education Code relating to authorizing a recreation and wellness fee at the University of Houston - Clear Lake. According to the University of Houston System, the fee is not anticipated to be assessed until fiscal year 2017. The estimate assumes revenues of $2.3 million in fiscal years 2017 and 2018 and $2.4 million in fiscal years 2019 and 2020. Local Government Impact No fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
