The bill would require the Employees Retirement System (ERS) and the Teacher Retirement System (TRS) to conduct a joint study of advantages and disadvantages of establishing a patient-reported outcomes registry for musculoskeletal care provided under HealthSelect at ERS and TRS-Care and TRS-ActiveCare. ERS and TRS anticipate that any costs associated with completing the study could be absorbed within existing resources.The bill would take effect September 1, 2015 and the report would be due no later than December 1, 2016. Local Government Impact No fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
