The bill would amend the Election Code to establish a process of renewal for volunteer deputy registrar once a term limit expires. The registrar would be required to send a notice of expiration. If a volunteer deputy registrar completes the renewal application in the prescribed manner, the volunteer deputy registrar is not required to attend certain trainings.
