                    LEGISLATIVE BUDGET BOARD    Austin, Texas      FISCAL NOTE, 84TH LEGISLATIVE REGULAR SESSION            April 14, 2015      TO: Honorable Byron Cook, Chair, House Committee on State Affairs      FROM: Ursula Parks, Director, Legislative Budget Board     IN RE:HB3074 by Springer (Relating to the provision of artificially administered nutrition and hydration and life-sustaining treatment.), As Introduced    No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.  The bill would amend Chapter 166 of the Health and Safety Code as it relates to artificially administered nutrition and hydration and life-sustaining treatment. The bill would modify the advance directive form and certain related information provided to a patient and their representative. It is anticipated that the duties and responsibilities of the implementing agencies would be accomplished through existing resources. Local Government Impact No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
