The bill would amend the Occupations Code relating to the regulation of for-profit legal service contract companies, administrators, and sales representatives; providing an administrative penalty; authorizing a fee; requiring an occupational registration. Based on the analysis of the Department of Licensing and Regulation, duties and responsibilities associated with implementing the provisions of the bill could be accomplished by utilizing existing resources.   Local Government Impact No fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
