The bill would amend the Election Code to extend the date that the counting of provisional ballots could be conducted. The bill would permit an election officer to petition a district court for injunctive or other relief if certain conditions exist relating to an incorrect rejection of a early voting ballot.The Office of Court Administration reported no significant fiscal impact to the state court system is anticipated.
