The bill would amend the Water Code to specify a director of a groundwater conservation district is considered a district employee under Chapter 101, Civil Practice and Remedies Code. Under the provisions of the bill, a groundwater conservation district board member is immune from suit and from liability for official votes and official actions. Local Government Impact No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
