                    LEGISLATIVE BUDGET BOARD    Austin, Texas      FISCAL NOTE, 84TH LEGISLATIVE REGULAR SESSION            April 6, 2015      TO: Honorable Larry Phillips, Chair, House Committee on Homeland Security & Public Safety      FROM: Ursula Parks, Director, Legislative Budget Board     IN RE:HB3211 by King, Phil (Relating to training requirements for peace officers appointed to supervisory positions.), As Introduced    No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.  The bill would amend the Occupations Code to require a peace officer appointed to a supervisory position to receive certain training on supervision within a specified time frame. It is assumed any costs associated with implementing the bill could be absorbed within current resources. The bill would take effect September 1, 2015.
