The bill would amend the Education Code to authorize a nonprofit corporation to withdraw from acting on behalf of a municipality at the consent of the municipality's governing body. After the withdrawl, the municipality would be prohibited from involvement with certain functions of the nonprofit corporation. Local Government Impact No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
