The bill would amend Government Code related to the registration of lobbyists required to file with the Ethics Commission. The Ethics Commission indicates that any costs associated with the implementation of the bill could be absorbed within existing resources.The bill would take effect September 1, 2015, and would apply only to those required to register as a lobbyist on or after January 1, 2016.
