                    LEGISLATIVE BUDGET BOARD    Austin, Texas      FISCAL NOTE, 84TH LEGISLATIVE REGULAR SESSION            May 7, 2015      TO: Honorable Phil King, Chair, House Committee on State & Federal Power & Responsibility, Select      FROM: Ursula Parks, Director, Legislative Budget Board     IN RE:HB3606 by Krause (Relating to reporting requirements for receipt or expenditure of federal funds by political subdivisions that receive federal funds.), Committee Report 1st House, Substituted    No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.  The bill would amend the Local Government Code to require a political subdivision that receives or expends federal funds that have not been appropriated by the legislature to report the amount of federal funds received and the use of the funds to the Legislative Budget Board, the Comptroller and the Governor by the 90th day of each fiscal year. Local Government Impact No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.According to the Texas Association of Counties, Harris County and Tarrant County reported no significant fiscal impact is anticipated.
