                    LEGISLATIVE BUDGET BOARD    Austin, Texas      FISCAL NOTE, 84TH LEGISLATIVE REGULAR SESSION            May 18, 2015      TO: Honorable Troy Fraser, Chair, Senate Committee on Natural Resources & Economic Development      FROM: Ursula Parks, Director, Legislative Budget Board     IN RE:HB3658 by King, Susan (Relating to the development and administration of a parent orientation and education pilot program for recipients of subsidized child-care services.), As Engrossed    No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.  This bill would amend the Labor Code relating to the development and administration of a parent orientation and education pilot program for recipients of subsidized child-care services. The Texas Workforce Commission (TWC) anticipates that the cost of implementing the pilot program as required by the bill could be accomplished by utilizing existing resources. According to information provided by TWC, any costs for the Local Workforce Development Boards to participate in the pilot program would be funded by grant contracts awarded by TWC.
