Local Government Impact At the current time, the bill's provisions would affect only the American Airlines Center in Dallas. That center does not have an arena-wide mixed beverage permit; therefore, patrons cannot move with an alcoholic beverage into and out of the mixed beverage areas of the venues, and the bill would allow them to do so. This analysis assumes that the number of alcoholic beverages consumed and the permit type under which each would be purchased would remain the same as under current law.
