                    LEGISLATIVE BUDGET BOARD    Austin, Texas      FISCAL NOTE, 84TH LEGISLATIVE REGULAR SESSION            April 23, 2015      TO: Honorable Richard Peña Raymond, Chair, House Committee on Human Services      FROM: Ursula Parks, Director, Legislative Budget Board     IN RE:HB3672 by Naishtat (Relating to expedited credentialing for certain licensed clinical social workers under the Medicaid managed care program.), As Introduced    No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.  The bill would establish an expedited credentialing process in Medicaid managed care for licensed clinical social workers meeting certain requirements. Provisions of the bill are not expected to result in an increase in services under the Medicaid program and any administrative costs associated with implementation can be absorbed within the available resources of the Health and Human Services Commission.
