The bill would establish an expedited credentialing process in Medicaid managed care for licensed clinical social workers meeting certain requirements. Provisions of the bill are not expected to result in an increase in services under the Medicaid program and any administrative costs associated with implementation can be absorbed within the available resources of the Health and Human Services Commission.
