The bill would amend the Health and Safety Code relating to standards for elevators, escalators, and related equipment; authorizing a fee. Based on the analysis of the Department of Licensing and Regulation, duties and responsibilities associated with implementing the provisions of the bill could be accomplished by utilizing existing resources.
