The bill would amend Section 662.011, Transportation Code, to authorize the use of money deposited to GR Account 0501 - Motorcycle Education to defray the cost of conducting the motorcyclist safety and share the road campaign described by Section 201.621. Based on the information provided by the Department of Public Safety and the Department of Transportation, it is assumed any costs or duties associated with implementing the provisions of the bill could be absorbed within existing resources.
