The bill would amend the Local Government Code to prohibit a municipality from refusing to lease or charging certain fees to lease a public facility to a gun show promoter for the purposes of conducting a gun show. The bill would prohibit a municipality from enforcing provisions in a lease with a gun show promoter that would impose a condition or restriction on the transfer or sale of a firearm at the gun show that is not required by state or federal law.
