                    LEGISLATIVE BUDGET BOARD    Austin, Texas      FISCAL NOTE, 84TH LEGISLATIVE REGULAR SESSION            April 3, 2015      TO: Honorable Wayne Smith, Chair, House Committee on Licensing & Administrative Procedures      FROM: Ursula Parks, Director, Legislative Budget Board     IN RE:HB4068 by Smith (Relating to the regulation of barber schools and beauty culture schools; amending provisions subject to a criminal penalty.), As Introduced    No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.  The bill would amend the Occupations Code relating to the regulation of barber schools and beauty culture schools; amending provisions subject to a criminal penalty. Based on the analysis of the Department of Licensing and Regulation, the Texas Workforce Commission, and the Comptroller of Public Accounts, duties and responsibilities associated with implementing the provisions of the bill could be accomplished by utilizing existing resources.   Local Government Impact No fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
