The bill would amend the Government Code to require written notice be given to officers and employees regarding the availability of paid leave for military service. It is assumed that implementing the provisions of the bill can be absorbed within existing resources. The bill would take effect on September 1, 2015. Local Government Impact No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
