The bill would amend the Government Code to prohibit certain state agencies from selling or transferring a marked patrol car to certain entities unless the law enforcement equipment or insignia has been removed from the vehicle.The bill would amend the Local Government Code to prohibit a municipality or a county from selling or transferring a marked patrol car to certain entities unless the law enforcement equipment or insignia has been removed from the vehicle.
