The bill would amend the Government Code to prohibit certain state agencies from selling or transferring a marked patrol car to certain entities unless the law enforcement equipment or insignia has been removed from the vehicle.The bill would amend the Local Government Code to prohibit a political subdivision from selling or transferring a marked patrol car to certain entities unless the law enforcement equipment or insignia has been removed from the vehicle. Local Government Impact No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
