The bill would amend the Parks and Wildlife Code relating to waivers of fees for hunting and fishing licenses for qualified disabled veterans. The bill would modify the definition of a qualified disabled veteran from a veteran that is 60 percent or more disabled to a veteran that is 50 percent or more disabled. According to information provided by the Comptroller of Public Accounts, the bill would result in minimal revenue loss to the Game, Fish, and Water Safety Account No. 9. Local Government Impact No fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
