The bill would amend the Government Code relating to financial assistance administered by the Texas Department of Housing and Communitty Affairs (TDHCA) in certain rural areas. Based on the analysis of TDHCA, duties and responsibilities associated with implementing the provisions of the bill could be accomplished by utilizing existing resources.
