The bill would amend provisions in the Transportation Code relating to satisfactory proof of eligibility for certain specialty license plates for retired members of the United States armed forces, Texas National Guard, and Texas State Guard.Based on the information provided by the Department of Motor Vehicles, it is assumed any costs or duties associated with implementing the provisions of the bill could be absorbed within existing resources.
