                    LEGISLATIVE BUDGET BOARD    Austin, Texas      FISCAL NOTE, 84TH LEGISLATIVE REGULAR SESSION            April 22, 2015      TO: Honorable Susan Lewis King, Chair, House Committee on Defense & Veterans' Affairs      FROM: Ursula Parks, Director, Legislative Budget Board     IN RE:HB882 by Miller, Rick (Relating to the director and assistant director of the Texas Military Preparedness Commission.), Committee Report 1st House, Substituted    No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.  This bill would amend Government Code related to hiring an assistant director and certain required qualifications of the director and assistant director for the Texas Military Preparedness Commission. This bill would take effect September 1, 2015.The Office of the Governor indicates that any costs associated with implementation of the bill could be absorbed within existing resources.
