Smithee, Chair, House Committee on Judiciary & Civil Jurisprudence      FROM: Ursula Parks, Director, Legislative Budget Board     IN RE:HB920 by Sheets (Relating to additional primary election ballot information for judicial candidates.), As Introduced    No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.  The bill would amend the Elections Code to allow candidates for certain offices to have certain information listed next to their name on the ballot.The Secretary of State indicates the provisions of the bill could be implemented within existing resources. The bill would take effect September 1, 2015. Local Government Impact No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
