                    LEGISLATIVE BUDGET BOARD    Austin, Texas      FISCAL NOTE, 84TH LEGISLATIVE REGULAR SESSION            March 10, 2015      TO: Honorable Angie Chen Button, Chair, House Committee on Economic & Small Business Development      FROM: Ursula Parks, Director, Legislative Budget Board     IN RE:HB931 by Murphy (Relating to an individual's eligibility to receive unemployment compensation benefits on the individual's waiting period claim.), As Introduced    No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.  This bill would amend Section 207.021 of the Labor Code relating to an individual's eligibility to receive unemployment compensation benefits on the individual's waiting period claim. Based on the analysis submitted by the Texas Workforce Commission (TWC), it is assumed that duties and responsibilities associated with implementing the provisions of the bill could be accomplished by utilizing existing resources.
