This bill would amend Section 207.021 of the Labor Code relating to an individual's eligibility to receive unemployment compensation benefits on the individual's waiting period claim. Based on the analysis submitted by the Texas Workforce Commission (TWC), it is assumed that duties and responsibilities associated with implementing the provisions of the bill could be accomplished by utilizing existing resources.
