R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, Darrell Debo has deservedly received the 2014
Distinguished Service Award from the Burnet County Historical
Commission, and this achievement indeed merits special
recognition; and
WHEREAS, The Distinguished Service Award is given to an
individual devoted to preserving the history of Burnet County; a
long-standing member of the commission and the author of a
two-volume history of the county, Mr. Debo is a fitting recipient
of this notable honor; and
WHEREAS, Darrell Debo has made important contributions to his
community through his dedicated efforts to document and celebrate
its rich heritage, and he has earned the lasting respect and
appreciation of his fellow citizens; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas
Legislature hereby congratulate Darrell Debo on his receipt of the
2014 Distinguished Service Award from the Burnet County Historical
Commission and extend to him sincere best wishes for the future;
and, be it further
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
prepared for Mr. Debo as an expression of high regard by the Texas
House of Representatives.
