 R E S O L U T I O N
 WHEREAS, Three students from Calallen Middle School
 distinguished themselves at the 27th annual regional science fair,
 held in Corpus Christi on February 20 and 21, 2015; and
 WHEREAS, Sponsored by Valero Energy, the Coastal Bend
 Community Foundation, and Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi, the
 event is open to local K-12 students whose projects have been
 selected for advancement to the regional competition; and
 WHEREAS, Eighth-grader Julia Landivar won first place for her
 entry, while seventh-grader Elena Ramirez and sixth-grader Jasmine
 Del Gallo each took home runner-up honors in their respective
 divisions; with their impressive showing at the regional science
 fair, this gifted trio earned the right to present their projects at
 the Texas Science and Engineering Fair in San Antonio; and
 WHEREAS, These bright young Texans have demonstrated that
 dedication and ingenuity can lead to exceptional results, and their
 success has made them role models for their fellow students; now,
 therefore, be it
 RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas
 Legislature hereby congratulate Julia Landivar, Jasmine Del Gallo,
 and Elena Ramirez on their performance at the 2015 Valero Energy,
 Coastal Bend Community Foundation, and Texas A&M University-Corpus
 Christi Regional Science Fair and extend to them sincere best
 wishes for the future; and, be it further
 RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
 prepared for Julia, Elena, and Jasmine as an expression of high
 regard by the Texas House of Representatives.
