R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, Ruth Tapia, an eighth grade student at
Corrigan-Camden Junior High School, excelled at the University
Interscholastic League academic meet during the 2014-2015 school
year; and
WHEREAS, Participating in the impromptu speaking
competition, Ruth earned sixth place honors, and her accomplishment
is a source of great pride to her family and to her fellow students
at her school; and
WHEREAS, This notable young Texan has pursued her goals with
skill and dedication, and she may indeed look forward to a future
bright with promise; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas
Legislature hereby congratulate Ruth Tapia on her success in UIL
academic competition and extend to her sincere best wishes for
continued achievement; and, be it further
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
prepared for Ms. Tapia as an expression of high regard by the Texas
House of Representatives.
