R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, Bella Sera was presented with the People's Choice
Award by the Pilot Club of Jasper during the organization's Taste of
Jasper fund-raiser on March 28, 2015; and
WHEREAS, This annual event, which showcases numerous local
food vendors and hosts a silent auction, helps support the club's
mission of strengthening families and providing education services
and scholarships; and
WHEREAS, An Italian restaurant owned by Al and Victoria
Ademaj, Bella Sera captured its second consecutive title with a
pasta entrée; and
WHEREAS, Locally owned restaurants play a vital role in the
life of a community, and it is indeed fitting to recognize Bella
Sera on its contributions to the prosperity and culinary experience
of Jasper; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas
Legislature hereby congratulate Bella Sera on its receipt of the
2015 People's Choice Award from the Pilot Club of Jasper and extend
to Al and Victoria Ademaj and their staff sincere best wishes for
the future; and, be it further
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
prepared for the restaurant as an expression of high regard by the
Texas House of Representatives.
