 R E S O L U T I O N
 WHEREAS, Retama Manor Nursing Center is hosting the Robstown
 Community Health Fair on May 14, 2015, in conjunction with National
 Nursing Home Week 2015; and
 WHEREAS, Established by the American Health Care Association
 in 1967, National Nursing Home Week begins every year on Mother's
 Day, and during this festive period, nursing homes and other
 long-term care communities across the nation highlight the skilled
 and compassionate care they provide to the elderly and disabled and
 celebrate their ties with their communities; this year's theme is
 "Bring on the Fiesta!"; and
 WHEREAS, Founded in 1969, Retama Manor Nursing Center has
 been providing quality nursing care and rehabilitation services to
 the families of Robstown for more than 45 years, and its health fair
 offers local residents a fine opportunity to view the center's work
 firsthand; and
 WHEREAS, The communities of Texas are strengthened by the
 honor and respect they show the elderly and disabled, and National
 Nursing Home Week is a fitting time to commend those facilities and
 caregivers who play such a critical role in enhancing their quality
 of life; now, therefore, be it
 RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas
 Legislature hereby commemorate the Robstown Community Health Fair
 and extend to the staff and residents of Retama Manor Nursing Center
 sincere best wishes for a meaningful and memorable event; and, be it
 further
 RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
 prepared for Retama Manor Nursing Center as an expression of high
 regard by the Texas House of Representatives.
